Communicating early and often with those affected is a best practice when implementing change.
Having an engagement plan is a critical component to the success of the change. Include detailed information on the methods you will utilize, the flow, and assign ownership of key components. PLAN HOW YOU’LL ENGAGE Determine communication frequency to those affected and be as consistent as possible. This will help build trust. CONSISTENCY and CADENCE
Be as transparent as possible and empathetic. Track employee perceptions and stay alert to identify resistance. PREPARE FOR RESISTANCE
