Watchouts Change can create fear, anxiety and uncertainty. Employees may be thinking: ▪ Will I have time to learn the new processes? ▪ Do I have the skills needed? ▪ Is my job at risk? ▪ Will I have a new manager? ▪ Will I meet the new expectations? ▪ What are the new metrics? Identify existing trust issues. Monitor the “grapevine”. Listen for concerns and address directly.
Highlight What’s In It for Me “WIFM”. Identify Change Agents for support. Is there a need or opportunity to create a Change Agent Team? Communicate frequently and consistently. Be transparent. Empower employees to implement the changes. Create opportunities for feedback and solicit solutions. Set clear expectations. Schedule and implement training.
Communicate new metrics. Celebrate wins and success.
