You must be able to track progress and measure the result of your goal. Therefore, agent goals: • Must be broken into measurable elements. • Must explain how and when they will achieve the goal.

How will I know that the change has occurred?

Can these measurements be obtained?

How will you evaluate progress towards your goal?

How will you know that your goal has been met?

Determine if the data can be obtained and how it is defined or calculated.

Examples:

Determine the type of evidence that will be needed to prove the achievement.

Joe’s novice ratings need to be below 15% for the next 2 weeks using appropriate tone, effective probing and closing statement.

Joe needs to have high effective scores for a while.
